Condom Distribution Scheme (CDS)

The YorSexualHealth Condom Distribution Scheme (CDS)

The Condom Distribution Scheme for North Yorkshire and York is managed by YorSexualHealth. The scheme contributes to the reduction of unintended teenage pregnancies and the incidence of STIs through greater access to free condoms.

The CDS will target young people and those most at risk of sexual ill-health.

The cost of condoms, associated products and delivery will be met by YorSexualHealth; there will be no charge to organisations or individuals participating in the scheme.

In order to minimise uneccessary costs and wastage, the CDS will routinely offer a limited choice of products -  three sizes of latex condom, mixed flavours and sachets of lubricant. A full range of condom types and associated products will be available through YorSexualHealth specialist services or on request.

Registration

If you are interested in joining the current scheme, please complete the registration form online now.

On receipt of your registration form we will contact you again with information about ordering, training and other resources.

Free training is provided by YorSexualHealth to staff working for services signed up to the CDS.

Online ordering will be available when you have registered with the new scheme.

We are keen to hear your views on the Condom Distribution Scheme. Please complete a very brief survey today to help us evaluate and improve the service – this should take less than a minute! THANK YOU!
